Mr. Vidhani, Partner in the Banking & Finance practice, Mumbai, has advised financial institutions, corporations, and funds on distressed acquisitions, debt restructuring, refinancing, and financing transactions. He specializes in syndicated lending, guarantees, security, debt issuances, insolvency, and restructuring, with experience at Ashurst, Sydney, and expertise in RBI schemes and the Insolvency Code.

Mr. Goyal, an NLU Jodhpur graduate (2009), has been with Wadia Ghandy & Co.’s Dispute Resolution team since 2009 and became Partner in 2016. He specializes in civil, commercial, corporate, criminal litigation and arbitration, and practices before the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, and tribunals. Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court.

Dr. Shikha, an international academic scholar, holds a Ph.D. from NLU Jodhpur and an LLM from University College London. She has taught and researched in India and Singapore, with expertise in insolvency laws and corporate governance. She has contributed to World Bank reports and government-funded insolvency research projects.

Dr. Kapsis researches financial services and technology regulation, focusing on fintech, cryptocurrencies, CBDCs, and AI governance. His work examines regulatory models balancing innovation, consumer protection, and market stability. He has widely published on regulation and competition and holds a PhD in EU merger control from the University of Bristol.

Mr. Chawla is a Partner at Trilegal's competition law practice. He advises Indian and multinational clients on a wide range of competition law matters including restrictive practices, market dominance, and cartel investigations, to name a few. He also regularly appears before the Competition Commission of India, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, and the Supreme Court of India. 

Susan Thomas, Co-Founder of XKDR Forum, is an expert in Indian finance. Her key contributions include co-authoring the NSE-50 index and helping draft India's bankruptcy law. With a B.Tech from IIT Bombay and a PhD from USC, she previously taught at the Indira Gandhi Institute for Development Research.

Mr. Aldak holds extensive experience in indirect tax litigation, commercial disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy matters, and regulatory issues. Mr. Aldak has represented creditors, corporate debtors,  and resolution professionals before the NCLT and NCLAT, and serves as an accredited arbitrator with APCAM and as an empanelled arbitrator with the Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation.

Mr. Batra, a globally renowned insolvency lawyer with three decades of experience, has contributed to policy making, legislative drafting, client advisory, and development of jurisprudence in insolvency and bankruptcy law. He is also a prolific writer, speaker, and curator of capacity-building programmes for stakeholders in the insolvency ecosystem.

Prof. Parry specialises in international and comparative insolvency law, with a focus on the UK, USA, EU, India, and China. She is the author of Transaction Avoidance in Insolvencies (3rd edn, OUP, 2018) and her research lies at the intersection of technology and commercial law, including digital economies, insolvencies in this sector, and artificial intelligence. 

Mr. Jauhari specialises in policy and research on insolvency law and regulatory frameworks for financial sector regulators. At Vidhi, he has assisted the Ministry of Finance, and the IBBI on key reforms in corporate and financial laws. In 2025, he was an Academic Visitor at the Commercial Law Centre, Harris Manchester College, University of Oxford. 

With over 35 years of legal experience, Mr. Giridhar is a Senior Advocate practising before the Supreme Court, Madras High Court, Delhi High Court, Karnataka High Court, and various tribunals. He specialises in intellectual property, civil litigation, and arbitration, representing leading entities such as GAIL, ONGC, and ECGC in complex disputes.

With over 32 years of legal and banking experience, Mr. Chand is a leading expert in banking, finance, and insolvency law in India. He is renowned for handling complex insolvency cases and resolution plans, advising both creditors and debtors by leveraging his deep understanding of financial regulations.

Mr. Singhvi is a practising advocate with expertise in corporate, commercial, and insolvency laws. He has been involved in landmark insolvency cases such as Jaypee Infratech, Lanco Infra, and Essar Steel. A financial, social, and RTI activist, he regularly contributes through PILs, lectures, and legal publications. He has been a member of the World Bank Insolvency Group on ‘Train the Trainers’ with IBBI and is also a Fellow Member of ICAI.

Ms. Sharma, Counsel in the Restructuring & Insolvency practice at Chandhiok & Mahajan, advises resolution applicants, insolvency professionals, creditors, and debtors in insolvency and liquidation proceedings, as well as on schemes of arrangement and corporate disputes. Actively engaged in the insolvency community, she is a member of INSOL International, INSOL India, and IWIRC India, serves on INSOL India’s Young Practitioner Committee, and was part of INSOL International’s 2023–2024 Future Leaders Programme.

Mr. Saranathan, Partner at Acuity Law, Mumbai, leads the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice with over a decade of experience in insolvency, corporate advisory, and high-value disputes. He represents multinational corporations, financial institutions, and HNIs before the Supreme Court, High Courts, NCLT, DRT, and in domestic and international arbitrations. His expertise spans insolvency, cross-border enforcement, banking litigation, and corporate advisory, offering clients pragmatic, business-focused solutions across legal and commercial challenges.

Mr. Ramaiah, Principal Associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency practice at Khaitan & Co., Mumbai, regularly advises on restructuring, insolvency, debt recovery, and enforcement across sectors such as aviation, oil & gas, steel, power, and telecom. He has handled high-profile, cross-border matters involving jurisdictions like the UK, USA, and Singapore. Recognized among Business World’s “30 Under 30” (2022) and as a “Recommended and Key Lawyer” by Legal 500 (Asia Pacific, 2024), he also regularly publishes in leading journals.

Mr. Deora, a civil litigator and Chartered Accountant (ACA, ICAEW), specializes in contentious insolvency, fraud and asset tracing, corporate restructuring, mergers, minority oppression, and commercial disputes. He regularly appears before courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums in India. Formerly with Grant Thornton’s dispute resolution and forensic teams, he worked on high-profile cases involving political corruption, forex derivative claims, and carbon credit fraud. Pulkit chairs the INSOL India Young Practitioners’ Committee and is a member of the ICAEW Forensic and Expert Witness Group.

Praneesh Goyal is a Founding Partner at MGCo. Legal, where he leads the Strategic Business & Investment Practice. He advises financial and strategic investors on corporate transactions, investment structuring, taxation, insolvency, and intellectual property protection. He also serves as Resident Director of the India Discovery Fund (Middle East/Gulf region). An accredited mediator and associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Praneesh holds a B.A. LL.B. (Business Law Hons.) from National Law University, Jodhpur.
